Elevating the Skilled Trades
—
Throughout 2023 and 2024, Red Wing Shoe Company advanced its commitment to honoring and supporting skilled workers by expanding workforce development partnerships, reducing financial barriers, and increasing visibility for careers in the trades.
Community Service
—
Red Wing Shoe Company employees around the world came together for our annual Day of Service in 2023 and 2024, rolling up their sleeves to support their communities:
894 employees from our global workforce participated—230 in 2023 and 664 in 2024.
41 volunteer activities organized across local and global communities.
1,800+ hours of service logged.
Partnered with nonprofits like the YMCA, United Way, and River Bluff Humane Society.
“Although the work was harder than expected, the reward was equally as great. It was a very humbling experience to see so many volunteers from different walks of life come together for the sole purpose of building this home for a family in need.” — Abbie Flynn, Accounts Receivable Associate, volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

Through our Retail Returns Donation pilot, we also cleaned, refurbished, and donated non-resalable returns to recovery centers, workforce programs, and veterans’ groups.
