NEW UPCYCLED LEATHER TOTE BAG SUPPORTS COMMITMENT TO CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

As a part of Red Wing’s commitment to pursuing sustainable practices, we’ve created an all-new, limited-edition tote bag that’s made from upcycled leather. High standards of quality at our tannery cause certain hides to be deemed unusable for footwear due to scarring, weight, or other reasons. Red Wing repurposes those hides in many ways – this time, we’ve upcycled into a rugged tote bag.

We’re proud to partner with the Savory Institute to donate 100% of the tote bag profits to their organization. The Savory Institute, a global non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the regeneration of the world's grasslands.

This upcycled tote bag will be released to consumers on November 30.

There are only 500 upcycled tote bags globally. Each bag has a unique embossing detail that shows they are handcrafted here in Red Wing with upcycled leather.

No two bags are alike, each showing the scarring, minor imperfections, or stamps, taking something imperfect and turning into a beautiful, usable bag with its own unique story.

Tote bags can be used for carrying groceries, books, or even boots – the leather is finished in a way that makes it safe for transporting food.
